the eve dinner was at coronade hotel in bukit bintang. i feel like its much more of a formal dinner even if its just my family member, mayb because i din't go home for quite a while, and dad shook my hand as if he was meeting one of his client, sigh!

happy chinese new year

'we shall not be sorry for how we live' - one of the lines from the speech of the leader of the free world. powerful words, from a powerful man. another line that i like from the speak is ' we are willing to offer our hand if you are willing to unclinch your fist'. i guess people are willing to help others if those who are in need of help, just reach out and let go all the hatred of a complete misunderstanding.

as the new year is coming, i might add the lunar new year, its time for us to ' dust ourself, pull ourself up, and move forward' what ever happen before, we have to acknowledge it, and solve it with all the past grudge being let go.else, we won't move on i suppose.

leaving tomorrow, it will be a homecoming journey for me above anything else, back to the place well " where is belong..." the daughtry's home still riniging in my ear, when i heard that on the flight back from europe, just make me realise that no matter where am i, or where i travel to, home is always the best place. meeting those familiar faces, well mayb not that familiar but they do play an integral part in me growing up, for example the lady that took care of me when i was small, i do hope to visit her tomorrow, sure tears will flow in her eyes, seeing her "anak" have grown and a long way since she have to 'suap' for every meal, yes i do remember all her good deeds. mayb thats my advantage, and at the same time i have the weaknesses of remembering those who well, are not very nice to me.i wish to let go all of that seriously.

was a fan of bossa nova with olivia ong, the clear voice and relaxing melody, ... today i found out this new singer Marcela Mangabeira, check her out.

late late b'day

decided to call my mates over, since its weekend and rizal is back for the weekend, and am on my loong christmas weekend break. so rizal, amar and ray come over. sharean was in bangcock apparently.


and looks like someone strike a jackport with a new satria neo and a new hp. lucky dude. and they come over with a late late late b'day cake. was a nice gesture of them. in the end, we decide to take a spin in amar's new ride

well, its nice for them to come over, its their first time to visit. now that they knew the way, its easier to call them over more frequent :D

thanks-giving dinner 08

when we think bout it, there are lots of things we should be thankful for. i mean, if we look at other countries, they hardly have water supply or electricity, or even food. but me, as a human being, yes, i do complain, and complain a lot when things don't go my way. don't everyone? but as the year come to an end, we look back at what we have accomplished, most of us would probably think back and say "hey, thank God i have today and all the blessing through the year"

this is the setting for the thanks-giving dinner. surely i do enjoy myself, working togather with my family members preparing for the meal, each have their own role, and their own contribution. at the end of the day, regardless our trouble, let it big or small, we are thankful for the US, us being able to seat down and have the wonderful meal togather.

that was playing while "snow" is pouring from above. that was the scene at mid valley, while i was doin my christmas shopping.shopping for christmas this year is very rushing, as i would like to take my time picking up gifts, but time are limited due to assignments, midterm, etc. so christmas 2008 is kinda moderate, but its all good too, because, i din not go home for quite a while till the christmas eve, so it does feel like a lil home coming.

the church service in the morning, was well, touching i have to say, its a bout a the lost sheep, and homecoming too. in a nut shell, it just saying that its never too late to return to God, whenever we are lost. the play from the children church, like every year, was not disappointing, they even have an orchestra of violin. was great.

the first post of 09. 2009, well, not a great start as predicted as expert. well, having to seat for finals during the first week of a new year is never a good start anyways. well, this sem with 3 papers, it does take a lot. somehow i don't feel i did good during this finals. the last paper ENT, well if i don't have the math paper right in the middle, i guess i could do a better job, as i only have a day and a half to prepare. and maths, it just frustrating not to kill off the paper with the great start.frustrations and disappointment, is that the theme of the year? well i hope not, although supp paper is calling which does put a dent in the Chinese new year celebration. once i get my butt off the sofa and stop getting addicted to PSP, i will start studying, as for now, i guess there is nothing to do and try to get the disappointment over with, basically am just disappointed with myself for not tryin harder. a new toy is coming on friday according to edmund, well, i can only wish its mine, but then again, i can play with it most of the time during the hols :D
